Director of Children, Family, and Community Ministries
Hope works with kids and families on Sunday mornings, teaches the children at Caring For Children once a week, and coordinates most of Richfield UMC’s events that engage the wider community. She is a provisional deacon in the United Methodist Church, and her ministry is specialized on the areas of Faith Formation, and Justice. Her goal is to create an environment of lifelong learning about faith and justice, starting with children.
She is originally from California, but she moved to the Midwest for college, and has never been able to leave because she likes it so much here. Her past work experiences involve outdoor education, farming, and Christian education.
Outside of her time at church, she works as a dog sitter and a dog walker. She loves hiking, baking, watching baseball, and just generally spending time with her husband Aaron and their friends and family.
