He’s performed at a dozen improv comedy festivals, produced Fringe Festival shows, and now teaches faith-based improv workshops.
He plays the ukulele, including in the Living Waters worship band, tries new recipes with the Instant Pot, saves the universe on PlayStation 4, goes geocaching around the nation, listens to tons of podcasts (The Robast, The Liturgists, Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend, Revisionist History, Terrible Thanks for Asking, etc.), reads a ton of books (recent reads includes Talking to Strangers by Malcolm Gladwell and A Brief History of Seven Killings by Marlon James), and has Raiders of the Lost Ark memorized, sound effects and all. He’s always ready for a good joke exchange and makes the best cream cheese wontons on the planet. Pastor Nate loves preaching, officiating weddings, baptizing newborns, leading Bible study, marching for justice, and praying with people.
